THE CHALLENGE

Casa Jardín is an expert brand in the category of insecticides. Both the name and its iconic branding make its products highly recognizable on the shelf.

When launching a new range of products that are more respectful of the environment, we found ourselves facing different challenges from a strategic point of view and from a packaging design point of view.

The challenge was:

1. Coming up with naming proposals that describe the benefits and attributes of the range in a very intuitive way.

2. Creating an alternative version of the logo that keeps its recognition intact and that more powerfully communicates the distinctive positioning of these products.

3. Thinking of a brand architecture that works across different formats and products.

4. Identifying a combination of colours and fonts according to the eco-friendly universe, and which communicate, at a glance, the essence of the range.

We created a system of pictograms to highlight the most important attributes of each product. While maintaining a style of illustrations and friendly fonts to convey the care and naturalness of the formulas.

The result is a design in line with eco-friendly codes that cut across different categories.

Green, a very direct and self-explanatory branding, is presented as an ambassador of the new design for Casa Jardín based on simple but striking elements:

A chromatic palette in pastel tones that allows for clear identification of the category’s attributes, and at the same time, works throughout the entire range.

A photographic representation of the product as a central element to clearly identify it, accompanied by leaves emphasizing naturalness and care for the environment.
