THE CHALLENGE

Gazela is a trendy Portuguese Vinho Verde (young wine) brand, and because of this it has chosen to update its image and thus continue to be a benchmark in the market. Its freshness, its dynamism, its boldness, and its composition make it a brand that stands out at the point of sale.

Its visual identity is characterized by the strength and presence of the brand and by a striking colour palette.

BRANDING

The branding has been rethought to give it more strength and readability, maintaining a script style and working with certain underlying features of the typeface to make the brand unique.

The priority is to always be recognizable and impactful on the label. That is why it is in a vertical format, creating a stripe that separates it from the background. This, combined with its central position and significant size, give it the greatest prominence in the design.

The brand was relaunched with the aim of creating a different philosophy of life, bringing joy and relaxation to all moments of conviviality around the table.

The Illustrations

To enhance this staging, the illustrations were personalized and created in a custom style, where the usual photographs give way to a meticulous outline selected exclusively for Gazela.

The illustrations try to have a freer, sensory and more approachable style, which communicate the essence of each variety’s flavour.

All the dynamism and freshness of the brand is reflected in a special bottle and wine. In addition, the brand’s boldness and youthfulness have led to a commitment to more cutting-edge formats, such as the can, the tap, or additional communication media.
